One of the things you may be struggling with during the job interview process is dealing with past failure. Especially when you have may have been rejected for a job interview or after the job interview over and over again.
And this is okay…for a minute. But then you need to take control of the situation.
Failure is a part of life. You have to remember that all skilled learning is achieved by trial and error. Just like a baby learns how to walk. This is the normal process. Our errors, mistakes and failures are necessary steps in the learning process.
Most people get rejected in a job interview and don’t know how to manage these negative experiences. But there is a way to use failure to your advantage and let it contribute to the learning process of successful job interviewing.

3 Ways To Bounce Back After Job Interview Rejection
(1) Face the Past
First, face the past. Figure out what mistakes you made in your job interviews. I know it’s a painful experience to recall but it’s part of your process. Instead of letting your past mistakes hold you back from future success, simply recognize that you made a mistake.
That’s all it is. Really. So be honest with yourself and let’s get down to the business of getting back up and getting back out there.
(2) Take action to correct it
Second, make a choice to take action to correct it. The goal here is to learn from your mistakes and take steps to correct them in the next job interview. Stop criticizing yourself for past mistakes and errors.
This has no useful purpose and can be destructive for your present performance if you dwell on it. Find out what you can do differently next time and focus on that instead. Yesterday is the past honey, let’s keep it moving.

(3) Forget past failure and move on
Finally, make a decision to consciously forget your past failure and move on. Be a baby again and get up and get going. When you do succeed in your next job interview (and you will), this is what you should store in your unconscious mind to repeat over and over.
The memories of past failure can’t hurt you as long as you focus all your energy on your next positive target or goal – to be exceptional in your next interview and get hired.
